Indiana Adds Thousands of New Jobs in 2012

Indiana has seen significant job growth this year. The Hoosier State added over 15,000 private sector jobs from the beginning of the year through June. This brings the Hoosier State's average job growth to 1.5 percent, which exceeds the United States average growth of 0.9 percent.

However,Indiana's unemployment rate increased by 0.1 percent, bringing its total rate to 8.0 percent.
