Atkins Diet:

Probably one of the most popular diets in recent years, the Atkins diet works on the theory that eating too many carbohydrates in the body burn the results of some carbohydrates for energy storage and fat and the rest. Advantages:

?The GI diet is not to limit certain types of foods and there are always other ways to produce food of high quality.
?There are also reports that the GI diet can help to call for reducing the risk of stroke, diabetes and some cancers of the colon.

Disadvantages:

?It can be difficult to determine the glycemic index meals.
