Golfers are invited to tee-up for the second annual Golf Bytes Turkey Scramble. This golf tournament for Hawaii?s business and technology professionals will be held at the beautiful Waikele Country Club on Wednesday, November 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Golf Bytes was created to provide a friendly, competitive environment for Hawaii?s business and technology professionals to hone their golf abilities while having fun and playing for a good cause. The tournament offers everything from a Hole-in-One contest to prizes and free range balls, with great networking, snacks and drinks throughout the course and an awards dinner afterward.
Proceeds will go towards a scholarship to the Pacific Center for Advanced Technology Training (PCATT), a not-for-profit consortium of the University of Hawaii?s community colleges. The mission of PCATT is to provide leadership and training in advanced technologies to enhance economic and workforce development programs and initiatives in the State of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim.
The tournament is open to the public, with an entry fee of $320 for a team of three or $120 per player. This includes green fees, golf cart, lunch and the banquet awards dinner.
Shotgun starts at noon, but players are invited to arrive at 11 a.m. for pre-game contests and warm-up. This year, prizes worth up to $20,000 are being offered through our Hole-in-One Competition. The winning team also gets to take home a turkey and other great prizes!
